After seven years of hard work and fundraising, AIMM was finally able to move Hoga. Hoga was moved on July 31, 2012 from the MARAD National Defense Reserve Fleet in Suisun Bay, California to the Allied Defense Recycling (ADR) shipyard in Vallejo, California. Foss Maritime donated the towing services to move Hoga from Suisun Bay to Vallejo, and AIMM would like to thank them for their generous support.

ADR is located at the site of the former Mare Island Naval Shipyard and began operations in 2011. Despite the name, ADR is a full service shipyard, providing naval and maritime repair services in addition to ship recycling.

Hoga entered the ADR drydock in October. Repairs are ongoing.
